American Numismatic Association definition of mint: A coin graded MS-70 is the perfect coin. Has very attractive sharp strike and original luster of the highest quality for the date and mint. No contact marks are visible under magnification. There are no noticeable hairlines, scuff marks, or defects. Eye appeal is attractive and outstanding. If copper, the coin is bright, with full original color and luster.

Far cry from "stone mint". On my monitor it looks like a decent badge but these absurd overgradings are ridiculous.
      Looking for a 30 '06 Chauchat magazine.

Hi gents! Thanks for all opinions. Like i wrote before, my photos doesnt show how nice this badge is. A collector friend named Benedixen hold it in his hand the other day and said too what i try to describe. Sorry if i confused you.

Looks like a nice badge by my favorite maker. For zinc Panzer Badges, that is.

Here is one that I've owned for a long while. It is hard to photograph because it is so bright and shiny. I guess I would say it's in excellent condition but not mint.

            Best regards,
            Tom

              Tom,
That is a very nice example. Unlike the badge that opened this thread it has no "zinc zits" on the reverse.

                  Hi guys

                  ......I agree with Chet.

                  Tom's
badge is the only variant by this maker that I would choose to own.

The PAB that started this thread is a nice example in excellent condition. Nothing more, nothing less.
