    RSS IAB and AGMuK CCC

    Hello,
I just wanted to show my latest Gablonz items, both bought from the estand here. For the CCC, I wanted to ask if someone could tell me what version it is in Tom Durante's classification system. My books are all still in storage after 5 years and I won't see them again for a while so I can't look it up myself.
    Thank you,
    Dale

Small font CCC "A" - thin indented crimp backplate. Sorry, I forgot that bit. RRS ISA looks ok too. Stewy

Thanks Stewy, just what I needed. I eventually need to dig all my AGMuK CCs out and post them to confirm what I have.

                Hi Dale,

Both very nice examples. Stewy is spot on with the AGMuK clasp, its a textbook 1.2.2 in the CCC book, most notable are the thin crimps compared to the earlier 1.2.1.

Nice unmarked hollow RSS as well.

                Tom
If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

Thanks Tom. My Gablonz list is getting shorter, but of course I will always find new things to add to it, especially if you keep finding variants!

Thats what I love about this hobby Dale, always something new to see and learn. And especially why I love zinc badges, that is where all the variants are.

                    Early tombak badges are boooorrrriiinnnnggggg

You're going to draw some flak for that comment!

                        Dale,

I didn't know you were into badges as well!?!?!

Nice finds on both. That's a sweet CCC!

As for Tom's comments; I agree with him to a point. I like the early tombak badges just like everyone does. However, if you're a true fan of "variations" the zinkers are where it's at!

                          Nice Gablonz badges Dale,

I like the condition of the AGMuK CCC.

                          Best regards

Thanks Pavel. Now if you'll just find the Rosetta Stone document that will reveal all of the members of the AGMuK and which ones made what badge, who RK is, who is AS versus AS in a triangle, who made the ball hinge LW Flak, etc., then you will be my hero!
