Hi to everyone.....
I'd like to share one of my last items entered the collection.
A Karl Wurster, small "W", bronze PKA in full tombak.....
I have always been charmed by these PAB and this one has the recipient name and the FeldPost number roughly carved on the back....
After having closely examined it I'm quite sure that's period done.....(of course IMHO)
The feld post number:
FPn 08102
(Mobilmachung-1.1.1940) 2. Kompanie Inf,Regiment 69
(2.1.1940-27.4.1940) 7. Kompanie Schutzen-Regiment 69
(28.4.1940-14.9.1940) 12. Kompanie Schutzen-Regiment 3
(15.9.1940-31.1.1941) 2. Kompanie Schutzen-Regiment 394
(15.7.1942-24.1.1943) 2. Kompanie Panzergrenadier-Regiment 394
(7.11.1944-Kriegsende) 22.12.1944 gestrichen. (Courtesy Giel's site)
Of course every opinions are welcome in order to learn more about these beautiful items...
You have to forgive me for the pics...maybe too much....but I always really enjoy in photographing these pieces
All my best
Giorgio
