    Anti-Partisan on Craig Gottlieb auction!

    Hi guys!

Just wanted to give a warning on this one. I believe that the hinge system has been completely repaired. All comments welcome!

Well, maybe I am wrong, but I have never encountered one with such a sloppy job on the rivet. Here is a comparison photo with a couple of mine.
Notice how Craig's is flared out beyond the edge of the hinge and it looks like it has been hammered out of shape. Just my thoughts.

This badge has absolutely nothing wrong.
Hinge is correct (the "ramp" near the rim is ok and NOT due to hammer hits), pin is correct and rivet in type of hardware setup is often partially out of its seat/socket.

It is a very nice piece I would add without any problem to my collection.

                  Hi Chris,

Looks OK to me as well. I would say the slight ben in the hinge is likely due to hammer hitting the hinepin. Just a bit of sloppy production work by Juncker. The pin, and everything else looks perfectly fine and correct so no repairs or replacement here as Antonio says, just sloppy Juncker production IMO.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

I probably expressed in a bad way what I think.
                    I try here to summarize.
Hinge "ramp" is due to hammer hits but not done to repaire it or to messed with it, it was a factory work, made in this way:

                    1) craftman take the hinge + pin
                    2) he insert the rivet
                    3) he hit the rivet in the socket
                    4) he cut the excess of the rivet.

In this case he simply forgot to cut a part of the rivet.
Below some more made in the same way.

                    Hope now all is clear.
