    S&L Silver Panzer Badge

    Hey guys,

I would like to get some opinions on this PAB. I think it's a good S&L, but I noticed that the wreath detail is weak between the seven- and nine-o'clock. I suppose this could be from wear, or possibly a fouled die when the badge was struck. I don't believe this is one of the infamous Staegemeir fakes, but I could be wrong. Wasn't certain on this one but I felt confident enough to take a chance on it. Thank you in advance for any and all opinions.

Badge is 60.35mm high x 42.38mm wide and weighs 23.9 grams.

    Best regards,
    Tom

    Hi Tom,

I think you are in the clear with that one. Not the best strike I have seen with S&L, but nonetheless, all other points check out such as reverse hardware, base metal and especially the finish is all what I would expect from an original S&L. Definitely not a Staegemeier fake IMO.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little
