Why you don't buy from ebay unless you have a good eye.

Very poor, cast fake. No one should be fooled by such garbage.

Reminds me of the crap I bought when I was 12 at state fairs and auto shows to put on my US utility shirts playing war.

Does ebay now allow WW2 German items to be sold as long as the swastika is covered? Or do they still have their ambiguous ban that forbids all items with a swastika (whether you show it or not) or a list of words that are forbidden?

I used to sell on ebay, but they instituted their policy and I kept getting suspended even when I tried to follow the rules as best I could. The final straw was when they suspended me for a picture of a breadbag that had an RZM symbol on it. When I queried them about it, they told me that they only suspended me because someone contacted them and complained, and that they only ever suspended sales when they received a complaint. When I responded that that was a terrible policy because it led to other sellers sending in complaints to knock out their competition, and that using anonymous informers to assist in practicing censorship was a policy employed by the Nazi government, they suspended me for six months! Since then, I've never looked at ebay just on general principles.

Sorry about the rant and no need to give me a long answer on their policy. I could go to ebay and read it myself, but somehow I just can't give them the satisfaction of returning to a company that practices censorship.

Yes they still have their policy of no swastikas. They must not have found this one yet. I am a newbie and even with my dumb eyes I could tell this was a fake. I like to surf Ebay and the net late at night since I don't seem to sleep much these days.

Thanks, I figured the PC policy had not changed and probably never will.

                    Actually

......ebay's policy of no swastika does not apply to TR coins.

They are constantly listed, in all denominations, with the swaz clearly visible.

Take a look. Then draw your own conclusions.

No surprise there, just another example of ebay ambiguity and PC run amok!

Nor does it apply to stamps, books including Mein Kampf, etc ... makes no sense.
