Sorry, but IMO, the badge you show is a fake.
It looks very close to what an original should look like but not close enough. Among other things, the base metal does not look correct. Should be zinc, but yours looks like a modern alloy. The hinge and catch are not quite correct and many of the details on the front look off.

I agree with Tom, this one is a fake. The shiny-looking base metal is the first major red flag. Original Aurichs were always made from zink so they will have a grainy-looking texture to them. Ralph's closeups show the correct hardware, but also notice the texture of the zinc base metal. Here is one of mine also to help you see what an original should look like.

I concur with both Toms. Bogus badge.
Also notice the circle around the hinge. On the fake badge the circle appears to flat on top, where the originals are not, they are rounded.
