Another fine addition, lovely condition with a decent amount of finish left. The finish has a gold tinge to it, especially on the pin.

I think these Deschlers often have a gold look over them. Obverse looks definitely bronze here to me. Regardless of what the grade would be here, great clasp Allan!

Hi Allan,

Very nice Close Combat Clasp and one that is not too easy to find. I agree with Giel that these CCCs have a golden bronze finish that can make one wonder whether or not the clasp is a gold one.

I picked one of these up recently and mine has some tinges of gold, especially on the underside of the pin. I am certain, though, that my example is a bronze.
