Please help id maker of a IAB

I've got a new IAB and would ask for your help to id the maker.

    My guess would be:
    Eugen Schmidhäussler, Pforzheim

It was the best match, i found comparing it with a lot of others.

    Thanks again, Bernd

Hi there, these are commonly known as Rudolf Karneth ISA's. But there is no definitive proof that Karneth was the maker. Conjecture, continues. Stewy

        Thanks Stewy!

So i think i did a good job on this unmarked.

Sascha Weber attributes it in his book to Schmidhäussler (1.10.1), but he remarks that it is commonly called a Karneth!

You did ok. The bronze variant is harder to find, but they do come up for sale from time to time. Stewy

            Hi Bernd,

Nice example, and I can only agree that RK is the maker here. Not sure where Weber would have gotten Schmidhaussler from but I can't imagine that is correct. The maker is certainly RK, whether those initials stand for Rudolf Karneth or Robert Kreisel is still to be determined positively.

              Hi Tom,

Weber reports on a IAB found in a Schmidhaeussler sales bag in a private household. He remarks that it is not a proof for this maker but a strong indication, he also writes that this IABs are commonly attributet to Karneth in the collectors community, but he sees no proof for this conjunction also.

              Thanks for your answer
