IAB - which maker?

I got this IAB together with a German helmet some years ago.
Both were purchased from a old guy who got it from a German base after the war.
Salty version of a IAB, but I like it.

Any suggestion of which maker?

Thanks Tom, your help is valuable.
Cool to find such things. The IAB was inside the helmet when I got it.
Guess the soldier who wore the helmet wore the badge on his tunic too.
