    CCC - good or bad?

    A friend of mine got this CCC recently.
    A FLCW. Peekhaus. I have some doubt about its originality, but I could have wrong. Any comments?

          Hi Jan,

          Its an original FLL CCC, but its been refinished and with new backplate too. It looks to have been ground dug judging from the pitting on the obverse and someone repainted it and replaced the backplate to try and cleaned it up.

                Not a casting IMO, its ground dug. The pitting on the obverse is typical of zinc corrosion we see on ground dug pieces.
