I don't know if it is re soldered. It is the one from Ruptured Duck, for $750.

      Hi guys,

Not resoldered IMO, its an original latewar variant by FLL. It seems their crimping tool malfunctioned sometime late in the war (a common affliction with crimped badges) so they switched back to soldering their hardware on and since it was late war, the hinge and pins used at that time were the sheetmetal hinge and fluted pin like you see here. A perfectly fine variant IMO.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

I would say it's period made. The FLL is straigt from a danish SS vet. All 3 GWL's in the thread are paintedl, as I see it.

        Regards Henrik

Weird FLL CCC, the backplate is painted from the obverse. That is a very bad sign and probably suggesting its refinished unfortunately. Any shots of the reverse?

Since everyone is showing their nice minty GWL CCCs, here is mine

          Hi Henrik,

Thanks for the shots of the reverse. The GWL backplates are all textbook in this thread that I see. Your FLL on the other hand has been refinished silver with the backplate still in it, then they painted black over the silver finish on the front of the plate. Definitely not the way FLL finished their CCCs, but who knows maybe it was a field upgrade.
