First one's a Deumer & the second is a "pillow crimp". I'm not sure if the maker's known yet or not. Stewy

My friend Stewy has nailed it.
The maker of the "pillow crimp" is unknown as of yet.

            Hello

            Both examples are nice original.

The first one is a very nice hollow zinc example that has been attributed to the firm of Schauerte & Hohfeld...albeit this has not been substantiated.

The second one is referred to by collectors as the Pillow Crimp and theorized to be produced in the Vienna region.

            Best Regards, fischer

              Thank guys for your help.

              for my info.
Does this Pillow Crimp has an other price level than the 'normal' IAB, like a deumer for instance?

              thanks,

And the hardware too Ralph, the small sheetmetal hinge and classic catch are the fingerprints of Schauerte & Hohfeld, not Deumer.

Both very nice originals ascot, I can only agree with what the others have said.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

Sorry, Ficsher & Tom are right the first one is indeed attributed to S&H. Thanks for putting me right guys. Stewy

                      Thanks guys.

                      Just for my info.
Are these pillow crimp / schauerte less common seen iab's?

                      Thanks

Fischers description of the makers and production of these IABs is the most accurate.

                        Hi

These are not rare IABs and are seen fairly often. However the zinc example of the so called S&H is very nice condition wise. They tend to show up with a less attractive finish than yours.

                        best regards
                        Graeme
