Opinions needed for Army/ SS general assault badge. Looks to have been polished. Solid pin to the reverse. Stamped, "J. Godet Berlin"? Thanks in advance!

Hello,

Sorry, but that one is a crudely cast fake. The detail in very soft and it appears to be loaded with casting flaws. Also, the hardware on the reverse is clearly postwar. As far as I know, there are no original General Assault Badges that were maker marked to J. Godet & Sohn of Berlin.
