Hollow Zink IAB

I purchased this one locally and have had it for some time. There is no maker mark and have always deemed it original, but could never quite match it to any IAB design or maker. It has a very crude catch repair. In light of my recent negative experience I thought I would share this one for comments.

I like it!

I like that it shows that it was a 'stamping' & not one
that was from a "mold".

I also like the details of it overall & especially when
you look at the "rivets" on the bayonet handle sitting
just under the muzzle of the rifle.

If I were looking for one I'd buy it!

Hi Eric,

it's a fine original of the unknown maker H. Unfortunately the catch is repaired and there is solder over the maker mark.

Thanks for the replies. I guess the slight wear on the eagle threw me off. I compared it again to the H I have and everything is a match. This one seems to have had a harder life.
