Hi guys,

Here is a really nice Wiedmann General Assault Badge that I bought today for a whopping $40.00. A super nice badge for a price reminiscent of the early 1980s. It is in near perfect condition except for a small spot of zinc corrosion at the tip of the bayonet. All I can figure is that the dealer must have thought this one a fake.

......Nice catch. I let one f these get by me in the early 2000's. It languished on Detlev's site for months. He had it priced at $49. The finish on it wasn't as nice as the finish of the one you have, but it was respectable.

Great pair of badges... and the round wire pin is in really good condition, as the other guys have already mentioned.

Jef mentioned good enough for the originals gallery. We have the round pin variety but yours has a really clear maker mark. And we are missing the wide pin variety in the database.

When I get back from holidays (in a week or so) I will get in touch and hopefully we can use your pics in the database..
