8 year SS service medal Value

I know this is a silly question without posting photos but here goes
Roughly what is a slightly worn type 11 medal without ribbon worth?
I saw one bought a few days ago and now I have been offered it

Depending on condition and most of all originality they seem to fetch between £400 and £600 with a ribbon.
