ccc F&BL for opinion

Guys i just picked this ccc and would appreciate any comments
To me its ok but i think it's was repair its looks like right side was broken

Hi John,

Its an original F&BL clasp, but indeed broken and has been neatly soldered back together. Its a bronze grade IMO, and has been polished and cleaned of most of its bronze finish making it look silver, but that is just the base zinc base metal. Also, the backplate is a replacement; its not the correct plate for an F&BL clasp.

All in all, an original but heavily messed with and not very desirable in this condition. F&BL clasps are some of the most common ones out there, so you can probably find an upgrade pretty easily if you wanted.

Hi John, as Tom pointed out for me too it is not a desirable clasp. I would not want in my collection a badge like this, too much messed with.
