    4 rivet IAB on estand

    Hi guys,

I would like to discuss this 4 rivet IAB on estand:
    http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=811786
In my opinion it's a fake. I would be happy to get some other opinons.

Thanks for posting it, Sven. It is my badge. I have asked it be removed from sale until it's been reviewed - never seen a fake of a riveted IAB before, but still learning.

    regards, Robert

      Hi Robert,

just compare it with my original example and you will see a lot of differences.
The head is not correct, the details are soft and the rivets are not correct as well.

Thanks Sven, I have this type in my collection - I thought there was more than one type and that this was one of the variations.

I've looked over the types posted here, and found other examples of the four rivet IAB that are fake and look like the one I posted. Off the stand and into the mistake box - thanks Sven!

            Hi guys,

Robert, sorry to say but I agree with Sven. This one is a pretty common fake we see quite a bit unfortunately.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

No problem Tom; I'm glad Sven saw it and told me. Thanks for the confirmation - I should have looked here first, there are plenty of this examples of this badge posted declaring it bad.

              regards, Robert
