    Gab 25 'rk'

    Gentlemen,

After looking at a lot of these on here I've come unstuck with this one. I don't like the cut outs where the grenade and bayonet meet (they look filed with a round filer rather than sharp square finish). Also the number box border and numerals don't look quite right. Then again, someone may say it's nice original XYZ type!

It looks a bit strange colorwise, but I think there's absolutely nothing wrong with this badge. The cutting between, the bayonet and handgranade can be quite crude sometimes so varies a lot from time to time.
    Kind regards,
    Giel

      Hi Tom,

I had the same thought at Giel, the color of it at first threw me off but I really don't see anything wrong with it at all other than that. Lighting can really affect the way badges looks so its probably just some weird lighting giving an odd coloration. The rest of the badge looks textbook, including the hardware and details, maker mark and rivetting, etc.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

Thanks for your thoughts Giel (How are you buddy?) and Tom.

It's hard not to get paranoid about numbered badges! But I liked it when I saw it, sometimes you look for something wrong with it.
