    2 PABs

    I have these 2 PABs and after doing a search I am sure the one on the right is a toucan fake but am not sure about the other one.I could use some help.

    I believe the one on the left is a good zinc Rudolf Karneth with probably a repaired hinge crimp.

    the one on the right is for sure fake.

      Hi Mike,

      I agree with Brian, the RK on the left is an original, but not in the best condition. Maybe ground dug or harshly cleaned. The hinge looks fine to me and not repaired, probably just has some dirt or cleaning paste in it.

      The right on is indeed a common Toucan fake. Chet collects these, feel free to send it to him for framing.

            Hi Mike

            I agree with the other guys, angled pics of the hinge area of the RK might shed some light on any issues with the hinge.
