    Cardboard box from vet lot help

    Hey guys, I picked this up in a veteran bring back lot last summer. I never knew what it could have been for. Originally there was a buckle in it. I thought at first it was for a buckle but the lid wouldn't close completely so that was ruled out. Any thoughts?

    The GAB is only in there to show size. It was not a part of the original group.

      Could have contained just about anything. Of the right size, that is.

        Hi Dave,

        Looks like an outer carton for a medal box, like an Anschluss or any long service medal IMO. Posting it in the General Awards and the Cases subforums will probably get some more opinions.
