    IAB mystery solved??

    Hi guys,

I had to do a double-take after seeing this one on a dealer's site, thought I had struck gold for a second.

Pays to look closely and pay attention.

    Hi Tom,

Honestly I think the dealer has mixed pictures. The maker mark (which I think belongs to a PAB) is lower on the close up...

It would have been an interesting find though

    Best regards.

      Hi Jordi

You are perfectly correct about the mark...

I think anyone seeing this distinctive design would immediately think something was amiss if it was associated with the RK mark.

I do like this design so from an IAB fan, the badge itself looks great..

      regards
      Graeme

        Morning guys,

Exactly right Jordi, my first thought was that we finally found an RK-marked IAB but was very surprised to see it on a Frank & Reif IAB. Took me a second to realize what was going on and that Barry must have mixed up the images with an RK PAB.

If you look closely at the reverse of the IAB, you can see that there is no mark on it at all even though he points to it with the "RK" blowup. I hope no one buys it thinking its a very rare badge only to find out the truth when the package arrives at his door.
