The last Heukemes book I purchased on Ebay cost around $80.00. This was an autographed copy. GABs are highly addictive. In two years my collection has grown to over 60 badges. You should check out militaria-berlin on Fridays for their weekly updates. I've seen many excellent tombak GABs on that website. Be quick since almost all of the nice ones sell the day they are listed.
Is that a tombak GWL on the left? Haven't seen any of those before I don't think?

This thread is turning out to be very interesting indeed although I don't think concerns about Zincers are the main reason I started it

I must still say that I don't see a Zinc piece in nice shape to often! Id love to be shown otherwise if anyone cares to share more eye candy

Thanks for all your replies up till now, lets have somemore

Indeed, Mr. Notch has cornered the market on GABs these days. Absolutely excellent collection, and certainly the best GAB collection in the entire world right now. Very nice my friend.

                          Great topic and badges!
If quality zinkers could look great after 70 years, I do not see why they cannot stay so for another 70. Heck, most of us ain't even here anymore at 70 years later. Why worry?
