No maker mark on the reverse ; what maker could it be ?

I agree with Andy. It is a zinc badge by Rudolf Karneth.

I'll third that

Indeed a fine original RK, made of zinc. Its heavily plated as is typical with GABs by this maker and why it may appear to be buntmetal but in reality its zinc.
