Hey guys, here is my BKA, unfortunately the hook off and canceled the needle is attached with a hinge. What is the value badges yet in this state?Sorry my Bad translation ..

Good badge! Value? Depends... If you collect dug ups, it´s worth more than it is for me, who don´t, for example. Personally I would pay EUR 100.– but that´s it.

Still a nice and original Bandenkampfabzeichen and imo not a ground dug find. When i am remember right, this badge is coming out of a small group.

OK, OK it´s not a ground dug, but it sure looks like one.

IMO, this is not a ground dug badge. It should be a fairly easy respair of the pin based on what is showing. I agree, it will impact the value, but not as much as as some of the cracks and breakages that you see in these badges. Yours is still intact or will be once it is repaired. I would estimate that it would decrease the value by about 25-35% over an unrepaired badge. I would say if this were a more common badge, i.e. a IAB badge, it would probably decrease the value a lot more...say 50-60%, but IMO, due to the rarity of these badges, there would still be collectors willing to pay to have this badge in their collection. The question I would have is do you repair it before selling or let the buyer decide what to do? If you get this repaired and the repair is not overly noticeable, the correct thing to do is to make sure you point out to your buyer that the pin has been reattached.

Thanks for the reply, the badge has no cracks or other defects. The repair would certainly be easy and would put the value up. But I'll leave that to the buyer
