    GAB - Maker

Could someone tell me the maker of this GAB?

    Thanks,

    Hi Wayne,

It appears to be an unknown maker known as the '1.25.1'. It's almost identical to another unknown maker, the '1.24.3', but the catch on those always opens to the left and not the right. The catch on the one above appears to be an unusual flat wire variant.

    Regards, Ned.

I think I agree as well, though I haven't seen this example in this condition and hardware for.

        Thanks for the replies.

This badge was on Ratisbons auctions.

        Thought it was different.

I have Heukemes book but couldn't find an exact match.

          Did some more checking.

Badge is 1.25.1 Unknown Maker #8 as indicated above.

Is known to have flat wire catches.

Nice original piece, no need to worry imo.

            Regards,

            Daniel
