Looks to be a nice large font Souval, congrats on your new addition...

The large font examples are not as prevalent as the smaller R.S. marked IAB's making it a bit of a challenge to study them.

The coppery colored finish looks like the same coating used on my small font R.S. marked bronze.
This bronze finish also matches the so-called claw catch Post War Souvals, which raises more questions.

Can you tell me if the catch is directly soldered to the reverse or does it have a small circular catch plate?

Hi, here's mine. Not sure if it's a small or large font. Catch is gone. Sure looks like a different badge from Jay's.
