If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

      Mr. Durante,
I was checking here and that maker isn't shown to have been a maker of this type piece. I trust your expertise more than the reference but isn't this part of this site? Why isn't he listed as a maker?
Please excuse my ignorance, trying to learn about this hobby and it's not very easy.

That is a very old and incomplete list, put together about 15 years ago. If you are just starting out in the hobby and interested in IABs, I would suggest Sascha Weber's book on these, its the most complete book on the subject to date.

Here is a marked Mueller for comparison.

I have a similar unmarked Mueller with the difference being a round catch plate. Regards, Dave

              Hi Dave,

Yes! The attachment hardware can vary a bit on these Müller IABs. Here is an example I have with the round catchplate.

Mine is the ugly duckling of the bunch.

              Best regards,
              Tom

                      Hello

Looks to be a very nice Ernst Müller Design ISA.

Like Tom stated, hardware does very on these examples.
This is only the second variation I have seen with the rectangular shaped catch plate.

As everyone is showing their examples, I thought I would post one of mine.
Here is a bronze grade to mix it up a bit.

                      Best Regards, fischer
