          Noooo

Depends if you collect for monetary value(dont open it.) But if you enjoy your hobby by all means open it and display it.

            Well......

......for one thing it isn't the Hope Diamond. If it were mine......I'd open it in a heartbeat.

On an IAB you won't devalue it by opening it and taking it out of the tissue. If it was an RK in cellophane wrap fair enough.....you can still get many of the badges and medals like this, so don't worry.

Sure wear gloves, just unwrap it carefully and fold it back up the way it was before.

Very nice indeed and well done

                          Hi Sayle

Well we all know what's in there, hé most of us have one in our collection, so no need to open it for us.

It's really beyond me where these JFS IAB's keep coming from. Is there anybody who knows the story behind the thousands of mint bronze JFS IAB's ?

I dont know about the thousands, but this one came from a group of 4 in this same condition that have been in storage sine the 60's. Who knows maybe crates of these particular badges were found after the war and found there way here in the hands of vets. I also know whats inside I am just having a little fun and messin around. But since I have a bronze JFS badge no sense in opening this one.
