A nice original unmarked FCL IAB.

But I will have to disagree with you regarding the grade. FCL is known for their use of a nice copper undercoating. The silver finish that is worn away on your badge reveals that coating
        Kind regards,
        Giel

Agree with Giel, a fine original F&CL in silver.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

Oh, nice to learn about that Giel. I had no idea.

Ok so one more in silver. Pity but at least it's an original and would display nicely on a salty tunic

            Thanks for the replies guys

                  Hello

I also agree with Giel...an unmarked FCL design in slver grade.

I can see where one would get the impression this is a bronze ISA.
These examples had a reddish-black undercoating applied before the silver/white frosted finish coating.
As the frosted finish was delicate, these are often found in worn condition with only the undercoat remaining.

Here is one I have to compare.

                  Best Regards, fischer
