Hello Daniel, thank you for your valued opinion, it is much appreciated. Appraising the Badge from the obverse I had little doubt that the PAB was Authentic. However from the obverse I had a slight doubt due to the uniformed dark patina. However I have since inspected the Badge under an eye loupe and as you stated it is a Period example, granted it has lost much of it's silver finish. Appears that It is my eye sight in question not the Badge
