I agree with kraut72, this is the so-called Broken Stem variant and looks to be a bronze grade.

Some theorize these examples were produced by the maker Alois Rettenmaier.
For me, this is a rational argument but it is not conclusive.

Not the best pics, and straight on are always best if possible. Scanning is a good option too.
