I am not a fan off this badge at all as it lacks the line of rivets seen at base of the carriage as well as the rivets seen around the adjustment wheels as well.A tip off for me for sure never have seen a known good one lacking this detail

        Hi Joerg

Tuff call, I like the details and eagles head, but haven't seen one completly void of rivets. The setup looks like Juncker, except the catch. The needle - looks very thick but can be seen on other (bellieved) originals. The patina puts me a bit off but could be ok. All in all I would say 75% chance its original . But I'm not a pro at all soo lets see...

        Cheers Thomas

                  Hello guys,

thanks for your comments on this badge.
Another example for the fakes gallery.

                  Thanks again!

                  Best wishes

                    Hello Joerg

I too do not like this badge, but of course I am no expert. What concerns me the most is the reverse of the eagle, it looks distorted in its construction. Sorry

                    Best Regards

                    Mike

No problem - I did not buy this badge, ´cause I do not like it too. Aways when I see such questionable badges - those ones you can not say from the first view that it is a fake - I try to get shots to share them here and as a warning for other collectors not to buy a fake like this.

                      Best wishes

Here is another interesting thing to note notice the breech and the hand wheel floating behind it...compare to another and you will see the difference just odd not proof of anything other than only on this badge not on any of the good maker marked or juncker dies will you see this. here is a example of what is normally seen (phil your pic)

I'dd like to reopen this discussion. This one comes with a GOA from DN. It also lacks rivets. Like to hear opinions.
