    Anti partisan badge

    Bought a solid flat backed APB off a dealer couple years ago with his letter of authenticity ,had it checked by another dealer of late,he couldn't say pre may 1945 or not,semi hollow back one as well that he was happy with,your views please on solid back APB with no cut out shall I keep or sell it

    Pictures would help. However, some people state, that solid APB are not original, as there are no veteran pick ups, and no dug-ups...

      Thanks for the quick reply,seems 50/50 on these solid back,also seen authenticity off neiman regarding a solid back,do I keep or sell and buy a hollow back? Thanks

        Hi Alfie, I would kling on to it until the market is back up. Perhaps by then we will know more about these flatbacks.

            Hi Alfie,

            First, I would post pics to be sure we are talking about the same "flatback" badge and if it indeed an S&L badge.

            Regardless of what forum your on, the classic "flatback" badge is not an early Juncker. If it is wartime at all, it is made by S&L and would be considered late war. But whether they are truly wartime or all postwar is yet to be determined with 100% clarity.

            Feel free to post pics of your badge, who knows yours might be the missing link we are all looking for
