    PAB display

    Hello Guys.

As i focus tunics and caps i need some help regarding putting a PAB on a tunic.

I recently bought a nice M36 PZ tunic and need to display it with a PAB.

As im not much into PABs, i could use some suggestions.

WHat HOLLOW pab would you suggest that are not so expensive but can still look good on a tunic?, remember, i dont care for makers or so, i just need a hollow PAB for display on a tunic that is not a complete grey zinker in a fair pricerange.

Could use some pointers for what ones to look for.

    Thanks in advance.

    Daniel.

Mayers/Schickles and Wursters are the most common hollow tombak PAB's to encounter IMO. If your patient, you can find one at a good price.

If your looking for a silver example, Mayer/Schickle is the way to go. Silver grade Tombak Wursters are scarce.

I agree with Wyatt. A Mayer/Schickle example would be ideally suited as thery are very common and come along on a regular basis.

        Hi Daniel,

Dave is spot on, exactly what I would have recommended as well. If you are looking for an early, hollow PAB then either a Wurster (if you are looking for a bronze grade) or a Schickle if you are looking for a silver example.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

Than you Dave, Chet and Thomas.

May i ask what pricerange would be ok for a silver shickle one?

          Thanks once again.

            Is the price fair?

              Kind regards,
