    Juncture Army Flak Buntmetal

Dear all, I know these are very very rare. I remember someone saying that there are only around 20 to 30 known examples in collectors' hands nowadays. Would like your opinions. Thanks in advance.

20-30 is very, very high. More like 10-15. This is one of them.

Super piece! One that I have been searching for and most likely will be for a while.

There is no way I would ever pay the asked 3500 to 5500€ for such a piece. Do your homework, watch out for them on shows etc. and you will find one (or two ) for the regular zinc-price... The prices dealers ask are absolutely obscene.

You can't say something like that. Not when there are collectors who may be in possession of one of these, hoping to cash in with a windfall profit.

How does one arrive at such statistics? By personal, unverifiable observation? Or by a controlled study using objective analysis employing hard facts? Perhaps someone uncovered production statistics from the TR era, Juncker specifically, that would lend credence to this information? I would really be interested to know. The reason I ask is that it would help to know just how big of a collector pool has been accessed to provide this information?

One sold on the e-stand this year for a little over $2000. Like Bruce I question the figure of known badges at no more than 15. Patience is everything in our hobby as sooner or later everything becomes available. Always at a far cheaper price than on any dealers site.
