Wurster IAB with kwm maker mark

    Hi guys,

here I would like to show you a new IAB highlight of my collection. It's an Wurster IAB with the kwm maker mark. In my opinion one of the most rare IABs and I'm more than happy, that I finally got one.

I hope you like it and opinions are welcome!!!

      Hi Sven

I am very pleased for you. I agree that these are nearly impossible to find, so it is good to see you have found one.

      Super find

Yours looks in very good condition too !!

If and when you get time, could you post a large clear pic of the maker mark for reference.

      congrats
      Graeme

Wow, great find Sven!! I don't recall ever seeing one of these before, thank you for showing. Ofcourse we know of the KWM PABs, but I don't recall ever seeing an IAB with this mark, can you post the others that you have seen? Is it the same obverse die as the "W" marked zinkers?

Very nice Sven, congrats my friend.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

                    Hi Sven

WOW...what a find! I am very envious my friend! This is the nicest KWM marked ISA I have seen.

A very hard example to track down; congrats on obtaining one of the crown jewels of the ISA collecting world...

                    Best regards, fischer

                        Hi guys,

thanks a lot for your kind comments, very much appreciated!!!
@Tom: Compared to my other "w" marked zinc example, I think it's the same observe die. In my opinion the die was just already used a little bit more on these "kwm" marked examples.
Unfortunately I can't post pictures of any other example. I only know about four other examples. As far as I remeber I've seen one here on WAF, but it was not a thread about the wkm marked IAB itself, it was about something else and unfortunately I don't remeber where I've seen it. one other examples was shown on a german forum and one on another english forum, where I don't have access anymore
What I remember was, that all the other examples looked like grounddugs. I think it's a very late production and the quality of the material was more than bad.

                        Best regards
                        Sven
