          In that case I would suggest you check the measurements and weight of your badge against those given in the said book at the bottom of page 213. The badge if fake will be significantly smaller in size and the weight difference could be out either way..

                Some small differences in the wrench and in the breast feathers. But overall pretty close to a original.
