            Great , thanks .. !
Now I can start comparing it to others . It seems to be one of the more finely detailed ones , I like it a lot ..

I agree with Luggas, an original egghead. Maker is unknown, but possibly Gustav Brehmer.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

                Hello

I also agree with Michael...an unknown maker referred to as the Egghead.

This one looks to be a bronze grade albeit, the reverse looks a somewhat lighter than the obverse pics.
Are scans a possibility or maybe obverse pics without artificial light?

                Best regards, fischer

                  Hi Winkelman

Your badge has fine details and a very nice appearance with slight wear to the high points

I agree with the general view that this badge is still an unknown maker, identified by the nickname that luggas pointed out.

                  regards

Reverse is lighter , because it is plain zinc - I kind of assumed it would be normal that only the front got " bronzed " ..?
But now that you mention it , all other eggheads I found sofar were silver versions - so I will go on looking for another bronze one posted , to compare .
Thanks for all comments sofar ..

                      Hi Winkelman

As you state most Egghead IAB's are silver grade with the bronze examples very difficult to find.

This was the reason behind the request for better pics.

Here is my bronze Egghead for comparison purposes.

                      Best regards, fischer
