The Drivers Badge - underappreciated

Here are 2 drivers badges in packets. A very underappreciated award for what it represents and the difficulty it is to obtain in mint condition. Note slight differences in steering wheel design.

It was quite common for these badges to be sewn directly onto the tunic.

Too bad they couldn't find a way to incorporate a swaz into the design. They would be more popular then.

I fully agree that these are underestimated! A driver's life (especially in Russia and also in the partisan-areas in Jugoslavia, Greece and Itlay) was a hard one.
