Looks like an S&L with that setup?

It is an S&L clasp. From the pics looks like the catch had become a new guilding.

The catch looks odd, might be replaced imo.

          Original with a replaced catch.

Thanks everyone! Here are more close-ups.

The catch looks ok somehow but finished with gold paint for some reason?

              Hi Klaus,

The catch is definitely a replacement. Not sure why they gold painted it, but my guess would be to try and cover up the new solder.

Other than the replaced catch, a very nice original S&L with some great bronze finish.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little
