    Assault Badges from OVMS Show

    Hi guys,

Here are three Infantry Assault Badges and one General Assault Badge that I bought over the weekend at the OVMS Show. Hope you like them.

    Best regards,
    Tom

The first one is an injection-molded Assmann from the #3 mold:

I believe this one is considered an unmarked JB&C0. It is rather ugly, dark Kriegsmetall gray, but the badge has excellent detail:

Here is a Hobacher with a fairly decent finish:

              Hi Tom,

All very nice additions, I really like the detail on the Assmann IAB and the finish on the Wurster is really nice too.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

Congrats Tom on a very nice haul...

Your Assmann 3 example is very nice and looks to still have most of it's finish.
Two types of badge pins were used on the Assmann injected mold ISA 1-4 series; the "T" shaped combo hinge/badge pin we see here and the formed shepherd's hook shaped badge pin.

They say "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" and I actually like the motif of the JB&Co Design ISA's.
This variation is highly detailed as you state, with the intricate cross-hatching on the acorns and the stippling on the wreath leaves.
One of the better Gablonz conceptions IMO.

Your new sheet metal hinge Wilhelm Hobacher is in nice shape also.

                A very successful show!

                Best Regards, fischer

                  Thank you!

                  Hi Guys,

My thanks to all for the comments. My favorite of the bunch is the injection-molded Assmann. I also bought a nice #2 mold Assmann at the show, but I sold it shortly after buying it.

                  Best regards,
                  Tom
