At this stage IMO this is a correct example, I would appreciate closer shots of the pin, catch and hinge.

But as far as I can see so far, all the aspects of the award are correct to this design, catch pin and hinge.

This is a common yet sort after non maker award, that was the run of the mill at the time of production, alot of these awards have no maker mark infact the majority dont.

It is very inportant for all members to judge the award for its merit and design, and make sure that all decisions are based on knowledge and research.

I will post for you another example of the samw award with the same trade marks for you to be able to make you own informed decision.

Truely a lovely design that all Luftwaffe personal would have been proud off.
I have posted for you a few shots for you to evaluate the item that you are looking at buying, I think with this type of award you have and will always find a solid investment for the future and your collection, however as you already know they and $$$ but well worth it in my opinion.

I have posted a gold cased bomber clasp in this section if you have a look, it is a lovely award, and is even nicer in hand.

Hope that this helps with your decision.

The only change that I can see so far is in the reverse of the cut out of both awards, you can see that there are a few variations for your self.

Like I say closer shots of the hinge, catch and importantly the pin are very important.

At this stage however it looks fine.
