An original Hobacher with a really nice finish. I would want to remove that orange coloration from off the front and reverse, though.

......Perhaps I haven't been paying close enough attention to warrant this question:
Since this is one of two types of maker marks for this manufacturer would it be fair to ask if this particular variant, pictured above, is the first(earlier) or second(later) version? Or has this been determined to any degree of accuracy yet?
Just trying to keep up.
@Steve: Nice badge by-the-by, and I agree with Tom Y. that that orange needs to disappear.
