    IAB unmarked any ideas?

    Dear fellow members,

A friend of mine bought an IAB today that has no maker. The detail is very good, so i don't think it is a fake (but you never know).

i have been looking around on the forum, but i am not sure who the maker is.

    Can anyone help me out?

    Thanks,

    Hans

    welcome to the forum!!!

I would like to help you, but without any pictures it's not possible to tell you the maker.

                Hi Hans,

in my opinion it's an original IAB in SHuCo design. This design also exists with the maker mark of Shoni, Heubach & Co (SHuCo), but we don't know for sure if all the unmarked IABs in this design were really produced just by SHuCo.

                    Hi Sven,

                    Thanks for the quick answer.

I think he's thrilled to hear its a real one.

That bornze one is really nice. Is it more rare than the silver one?

                    Hans

                      Hi Hans,

I can only agree with Sven, a very nice original with some decent silver finish remaining. As Sven says, possibly made by SHuCo, or another firm in the area that possibly shared the design.

                        Hi Hans,

the IABs in SHuCo design are very common and in my opinion you can find both variants (silver and bronze) if you are looking for them. I think it's just not that easy to find the bronze grades in very nice condition.
