Hi,
Wanted opinions on these two 100 PAB badges. The photos displayed at the moment were cropped from a group photo so quality is not good at all. I requested close ups of the front and back, so they should be posted tomorrow hopefully. But the photos of the rear, do they provide much evidence?

Nothing can be determined from these photo's...good fakes of these do exist.

Before I started this thread I requested direct front on photos of the front and rear. Hopefully the quality won't turn out bad where smallest give aways are hidden.

I do agree though, if we can't work with the pictures still to come I will leave it.

Looks promising, but I agree with the others that better pics are needed to be sure of anything. The fakes these days are just too good to determine originality from pics like this.

ok, here are the front on photos I requested. The camera quality still is not there but hopefully we can make something of this. Included with these is a General assault badge 100 engagements also.

Both bad so is the GAB- the elongated number box at the bottom is the giveaway- they are very nicely made copies though- pretty close.

The gap between the panzer track and wreath did not seem right either when comparing originals

Those photos still suck...it's 2014 can't the seller do any better? He is clearly hiding the fact that they're fake as Patrick has stated.

Agree! Extremly rare badges (when original!) and bubblegum photos... Attempt to fraude?

I don't think it was a fraud attempt, I can imagine a lot of people being caught out with these badges.
I hope that one day I'll own a set of the panzer badges! Beautiful pieces

I'm asking the guy about a few basic medals and shield of his, I'll have them posted on this forum and we'll know if it is fraud or not.

One get suspicious, when somebody send so lousy pictures of such rare badges, if his intention is to sell... Perhaps he is just ignorant?

Considering what badges of this sort will cost it is hard to understand the quality of the pictures provided. Any IPhone will provide better pictures.
