    Hymmen IAB

I was out visiting the high desert area of southern California on some military work, and during a break I visited a little antique store. One of the displays had some TR stuff; most of it was fake, but not this! A little beat up, but I didn't have this type so I couldn't resist.

    Best,
    Greg

Thanks, Don! This trip I was at the Army equivalent, the National Training Center at Fort Irwin. 109 degrees during most of the time I was there.

        Best,
        Greg

          Hi Greg

It might be a little beat up, but when they are like this, imo there is no fear regarding originality

Great to see your Hymmen collection getting ever larger. The west wall looks a great set with the packet looking in superb condition.

          congrats
          Graeme

Nice find Greg. I have never really found anything good at antique shops, especially to find a pretty uncommon type of badge like this Hymmen. Very nice.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

              Tom,

Me neither, usually, in fact the display case had a fake HA PAB, fake F&BL CCC, crude fake Ostmedaille, and other than that just common KVKII etc, but I picked up the IAB first!

              Thanks,
              Greg

You had some luck for sure, ànd a Hymmen on top of it! It as intended to find you, not the way around

When I would visit 100 antique shops here in Belgium I'm sure I wouldn't find a thing.
                Kind regards,
                Giel

                  I once flew in a B-17, B-24, & a B-25. Next, I want to fire an 88 round.
