Hi Terry,
Not much to say about this one, its an S&L and the verdict is still out whether these are wartime produced or postwar. I like the look of the hardware on your example, seems to have the "wartime dimple" on the pin.

I completely agree with Tom here, beautiful piece, with wartime compatible hardware, but hard to say if it is a wartime piece. No one has solid proofs to support his opinion on pieces like this.
However some flat back BKAs were produced during the war...
