Assault Badge. Information ?

Good Evening everyone
Wonder if I could call on your experience to advise me on the authenticity of a German badge that I recently acquired in a job lot of old badges. Most were British but there were two German badges amongst them.
All the British badges were originals but I'm unsure of the German badges.
This one appears to be steel with a silvered finish. It also has a makers mark which looks like a tree with the initials BSW (or BWS)
Any info would be greatly appreciated

in my opinion it's an original zinc IAB made by Brüder Schneider Wien (BSW).

Looks like a nice, original BSW. The badge is made of zinc, not steel, so it should be non-magnetic.

I also agree, a zinc-solid BSW "crimped in" hardware example.
